About This Game Stitched is a horror adventure game that strings together the thrilling story of Catherine Stockholmes, an otherwise ordinary girl. The story begins with Catherine waking up in an eerie doll factory. With a great desire to escape, Catherine is forced to venture through the factory. It's deffently worth your time an money.The puzzle arn't verry hard but they require some thought and have a good verity. It's got fantastic art throughout and constantly changes itself up to keep in interesting. It dose a good job of not letting you get lost but establish a nice art.It would be scarry except there isn't too many charecters so you never really feel like anyone is in any danger. If I had any sugestion for the devs is to add a couple more charecters so that when you run into a severed head it'll have more of an impact when you knew that charecter.. Let me start by noting that the subject/story/art of this game is quite good, from what I was able to make myself play through the horrible mechanic mistakes/deficiencies:1) When started, the game loads in window mode (which doesn't align the view properly, and partially cuts it off), which is a deal breaker for a creepy themed game. *Note: This is not a tragedy*, because there IS fullscreen mode, but you don't find out about this until you start the game, because there is no indication of such a feature on the title screen.And the reasons I refunded this game:2) Once you enable fullscreen, it's bogus. I cannot understand how you could not have stretched the view to true fullscreen, rather than just fill up the screen space with black. Really annoying on high resolutions; no excuse for a game released after 1997.3) WASD movement controls are very standard in games like this (expecially when mouse is an option). This game uses those buttons for item hotkeys (some consumable, making for super annoying re-training of standard keyboard usage). and...4) I tried to change the controls, and the control mapping screen makes no sense. And even if I tried harder to decipher it, definitely doesn't allow you to set WASD for movement.*Conclusion:* I know a lot of work and passion must have gone into this game, and it definitely could be good, which is why it's a shame that such sloppy basic mechanical mistakes and details ruined it.. I will start off by saying that I personally believe that this game in my opinion is well worth more than the price it is set for. I sincerely hope that this game finds more publicity, because it is a darling little hidden gem. Right from the start the music and story drew me in. I tried to pace myself in hopes that I wouldn't finish it too soon, but as it turns out there is a lot more depth to this darling pixel game than one might think. There is layer upon layer of story to unfold with plenty of delightful puzzles along the way. The mechanism in the game makes it all the more challenging as you try to maintain your sanity. The scene gifts you with more than enough save points as a saving grace to the many death sequences you will face. Best of all, there are multiple endings. Uncovering the secrets of this world a note at a time you will find yourself addicted to the cause of helping sweet Catherine, if for no other reason than to show the game that you can in fact overcome the constant rain of death. There are multiple twists to the story to show that everything isn't as it seems. The depth that it manages was more than enough to mark this game as my new personal favorite.. This is a very good story driven indie game. The atmosphere reflects the story very well. The story is good and grasps you early in the game. One of the biggest pluses is the creators listen and keep making the game better. If you like horror stories and puzzles it's highly recommended .. While this game was kinda cute on the outside, it's A bit of a isappointment. This game is full of puzzles and clues, but it seems to fall flat on the plot, as if the final parts of the game were rushed and pushed together haphazardly. Over all it's a good idea, bad execution.
